What is MyUFHealth?
When we move our medical records system to Epic beginning May 9, 2025, our current hospital patient portal, Flagler Health Anywhere, will be phased out and replaced with a single patient portal, MyUFHealth. It offers patients personalized and secure online access to portions of their medical record. MyUFHealth does not represent your legal medical record. MyUFHealth enables you to securely use the internet to help manage and receive information about your health. With MyUFHealth, you can use the internet to manage many aspects of your health.
When will Flagler Health Anywhere be phased out permanently?
Patients will still have access to their patient portal and their information will not be erased; however, new appointments and test results will be shown on MyUFHealth starting May 9. Patients will be able to see all of their past and upcoming appointments as well as test results.
Is my UFHealth secure?
The UF Health network strives to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal IDs and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. In addition, MyUFHealth uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with MyUFHealth. Unlike conventional e-mail, all MyUFHealth messaging takes place while you are securely logged on to the MyUFHealth website. While you may receive internet e-mail messages notifying you of new messages in your MyUFHealth inbox, these e-mails will not contain any confidential medical information.
Once I have a MyUFHealth account, when will I be able to message my physician?
MyUFHealth provides a convenient tool that allows you to message your provider’s office. This feature will be available after we make the switch to the new Epic electronic medical record system on May 9. To use it, you’ll need to have an appointment with your provider after that date.
Who do I contact if I have further questions?
Contact your physician’s office during normal hours if you have questions regarding your appointment or MyUFHealth. You can also call the Gainesville/Central Florida office at 352.265.6983 during normal business hours Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for assistance.
