UF Health St. Johns honored as Member of the Year by St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce

The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce has named UF Health St. Johns its 2023 Member of the Year.
Chamber Board Chair Beth Sweeny lauded president and CEO Carlton DeVooght for his “incredible work to strengthen the community by leading the hospital to expand the reach of quality health care in the region.”
The Chamber honors businesses and business leaders who have made their mark in the business community.
“With the establishment of UF Health in St. Johns County and the launch of its Durbin Park campus construction, St. Johns County will be positioned to meet the growing needs of our community for decades to come,” said Chamber President Isabelle Renault. “The major investment UF Health is making in the community is strongly contributing to the county’s growing health care industry and elevating St. Johns County’s profile as a hub for health care. We are honored to recognize UF Health St. Johns as the 2023 Chamber Member of the Year.”
DeVooght received the award on behalf of the organization and praised the team at UF Health St. Johns .
“We are honored and humbled to have been named this year's Chamber Member of the Year,” said DeVooght. “I want to personally recognize all of our team members who are the real reason behind this award. It recognizes the dedication and importance of our work to advance the benefits of quality health care in North Florida. I appreciate the work of our entire team and thank you for this award.”
