About this Provider

Douglas Senecal, PA, is a board-certified physician assistant with more than 20 years of experience. He most recently served as a physician assistant in the Army National Guard and previously worked in urgent and primary care practices throughout North Florida. He also worked as a physician assistant in hepatology and transplant at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida and gained experience in gastroenterology at Gastroenterology Associates of Central Georgia, in Macon, Georgia.

Senecal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in physician assistant studies from the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, Georgia, and then earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. He also completed a fellowship in transplant hepatology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, with a focus on developing research for hepatobiliary malignancies.

Senecal has extensive experience in offering primary and urgent care to patients. He has also been recognized for his research, earning the publishing award from the American Academy of Physician Associates as a top author of the physician assistant profession.
