Chanel Starke is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with dual certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP-BC) through the ANCC and Family Practice (FNP-C) through the AANP. Born and raised in sunny Jacksonville, Florida, Chanel earned her post-master’s certification from the University of South Alabama and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2019.

With a strong foundation in both hospital medicine and cardiovascular care, Chanel brings deep clinical knowledge and a tenacious work ethic to every patient encounter. Her experience includes the management of complex conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, and dysrhythmias. For the past four years, she served on the Hospitalist service at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama, where she was known for her focus, resilience, and patient-first mindset in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Chanel recently returned to Jacksonville to be closer to her family and is excited to continue her career in cardiology, serving the community she calls home. She is especially passionate about patient education and believes that empowering patients through understanding is key to improving long-term outcomes.

Colleagues and supervisors describe her as tenacious, dedicated, and thorough—qualities that have consistently shaped her professional growth and patient rapport.

Outside of work, Chanel enjoys fitness classes, hiking, skiing, reading, and spending time outdoors. She finds joy and grounding in time spent with family and her two spirited Siberian Huskies.
